Dear Members and Friends –
Welcome to May! We want to take this space to update you on a few things.
Welcome our new Region 2 Director, Chris Leyda.
Chris Leyda is a Crime Prevention Coordinator for the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, and a military veteran. We look forward to her serving on the board and representing Snohomish County.
Welcome our new At-Large Director, Tara James.
Tara is a credentialed executive coach with a deep knowledge of Washington State's crime prevention landscape. Fun fact, Tara grew up with the WSCPA. Her mother, Linda James, was one of our founding members.

We are accepting proposals for speakers and topics for our October conference. Submissions are now open and will remain open until July 31, 2026.
The conference Committee will send out acceptance notices by August 10, 2026. For more information and to submit proposals. Email us at info@wscpa.net with "Conference" in the subject line.
